Great Christmaspresent, but I like the old covers more.

Tolles Weihnachtsgeschenk, aber irgendwie gefielen mir die alten Cover besser.

Hi,
ok, I have my first round through the new album. And I'm completely speechless. This is an epic masterpiece, I can't even think of any word describing this massive power. Damn, I have never imagined, that this album could be this good. Right now I'm sitting in class while programming XAML/C#, but after hearing this album I can't even concentrate on my work anymore. I can't even pick a favorite, there are many songs, I really really enjoyed from the first to last second. 'On a Mountain High' for example is one of the best Majesty songs ever...

Man, I can't wait to watch the Majesty show this evening in Nürnberg, I'm much too excited.

So I've listened to all the songs and that's my conclusion:

Hier ist mein Fazit für das Album:

1. Judgment Of The Gods (average)
2. We Want His Head (average)
3. Banners High (awesome, that's Majesty!)
4. Time For Revolution (average)
5. United By Freedom (average)
6. Pray For Thunder (average)
7. Bloodshed And Steel (average)
8. All We Want, All We Need (awesome, sounds new for Majesty and reminds me of punk. That's a song for a good mood, my favorit)
9. Take Me Home (above average, there are some good new stylistic experiments I like)
10. On A Mountain High (average)
11. The Day When The Battle Is Won (average)

Average means, it's average for Majesty, not average for metal. So good job again, but I think it's like the Thunder Rideralbum- I have to listen to it more, to get more into the songs. Anyway, 2 songs already got me and became part of my all-time favorites.

Durchschnittlich heißt, dass es für Majesty durchschnittlich ist, nicht für Metal. Also wieder sehr gut gemacht, aber ich denke es ist wie beim Thunder Rider Album - ich muss es mir noch öfters anhören um da wirklich reinzukommen. Egal 2 Songs haben es mir schon angetan und sie gehören nun zu meinen lieblings Stücken.

Been listening to Banners High since it arrived now, and I love it!
Definitely like it more then Thunder Rider, not saying that's a bad album but this one is just a lot better.

Can't wait to hear these songs live!

Beav1s is right... Banners High is much better than the Thunder Rider!
I think it is even better than the Metalforce album and Hellforces.
I really love it. There are so many great songs. It is really cool that there is also an accoustic version of Take me home. At the Moment I like the bonus/accoustic version more than the normal one.
The first two tracks on the album really remember me on the Heads of the Deceiver album from Wizard. And Pray for Thunder sounds like a Manowar song. Really masterpieces. :thumbsup:

I guess the most surprise was Bloodshed & Steel. I think this one and We want his head are going to be my favorites.
