I have nothing to say about the first CD , but to the second. The Demos are great and the new versions of the songs , too ,but its just me or did tarek changed his vocals to a lil bit higher level? If i´m right , i think the "old" style was better. The rest was awesome like usual , nothing more to add.

Own The Crown
Awesome song! If you hear it once, it is stuck in your head forever! Also great riffs, epic lyrics!

Metal On The Road
Same thing here! A damn heavy steam hammer! Trueness on maximum! You can't do anything but raise your voice for the chorus!

Snow Is On The Mountains 2011
Nice ballad, the quite and slow beginning and nice progression to a great heavy metal song.

Freedom Warriors 2011
The new version sounds kind of odd. Not that I don't like it, but I believe I prefer the MetalForce version...

Halloween 2011
Much more powerful than the original version! Awesome! Tareks voice does a great job!

Geh Den Weg (remastered)
This song is so-so. A bit too slow for my opinion and I'd prefer this song in English language.

Make It, Not Break It
Great guitar riffs, great lyrics, this is an awesome battle hymn!

Guardians Of The Dragongrail Orchestral
This version give me goose bumps... EPIC!

Troopers Of Steel (live)
Hell yeah! I Love this song so much and finally I got a live version!

Pray And Die (Demo)
Wow... sound totally terrifying (in a positive way). Tareks dark and deep voice is creepy but brilliant. Hope they will redo this song for a later album for a better quality!

Into The Night (Demo)
Sounds not too different from the album-version. Cool to hear the early recording.

We Will Ride (Demo)
Same here.

Guidance To Death
The only song I don't like. The voice is totally strange and the song itself isn't really good either.

Conclusion: great album, the new and new-released songs are awesome. I did not know many of them yet, so I'm really glad to have the possibility to listen to them now! The demos are interesting, too, but I think I'll prefer the album-versions

I think it is a good way to get into their music. Maybe they will find some new fans with this "best of". CD2 is especially interesting for the people who already know them a long time because they can compare the Demos with the Album Versions to find out in which way they are different or not.

own the crown is fucking great, i cant stop listen to it.

i like the new version of freedom warriors very much. its sounding more natural to me, better then the metalforce version.

and also metal on the road is the perfect song for the car

cant find anything bad about this true metal cd.

In my opinion it is a really great best of album. the greatest thing about it is of course the re-release of the fist demo tape.
i waited very long to hear this and when i heard Guidance to Death for the first time a felt that cold i always feel if i hear some really great metal.
well since the others already said how great it is i just can said that you should definitely play the stuff from the demo tapes live.
and you should remaster all the demos and the keep it true and release it... would be really interesting to hear how it sounds.

Here is a late review but it's never too late :rolleyes:

To be honest, i am disappointed about the new songs. Many parts of Own the crown sounds too much like Hail to Majesty. Metal on the Road sounds too much like Bang your Head of Quiet Riot. Of course Hail to Majesty and Bang your Head are great songs but new songs must be original.

Majesty has to find their own way.
